Ms. Wu Xiahong is a singer and painter of her own characteristics. When art is transformed into a kind of freedom in her life, the illusions in her vision become images. Endless vicissitudes of life and her awakenness flow from her incomprehensive thoughts. Therefore, along with the rhythm of love, flexible notes and various colors recover and constitute a wonderful artistic conception of “sounds and images” in the series of musical paintings. It has been another pursuit in her life to realize a dream in which life is like a painting and years like a song. Her three-dimensional way of expressing art again is the evidence of the thoughts and feelings of oriental women to embrace this world, to embrace mankind and to embrace the nature.

Achievement:
1、Art: Being good at protracting artworks in unique music variation language and having ever protracted over 300 pieces of artworks such as cancas, painting works, chinaware, traditional Chinese painting and so on. These works were selected by the first National Freso Exhibition hosted by Chinese Arts Association and Arts magazine, Appraisal Collection、 Market Forecasting magazine、Chinese Famous Drawers’Art Collection and Art Exhibition、Channel Liuchu intercoastal famous painters and calligraphers Artwork Exhibition hosted by Chinese Peace and Unification Promotion Meeting, Painting Work Exhibition hosted by Shanghai Library, the Sixth Donghailan Exhibition hosted by Fujian Province Art Association，the first members’art exhibition hosted by Fujian Painting and Calligraphy Cutural Office and so on究会主办. In the festival day of 2003, love and life artwork joint-exhibition of three drawers which exhibited 40 pieces of her individual canvases held. In 2005, Seven Painters Work Exhibition was hosted in which exhibited nearly 20 约艺术家协会理
事 pieces of painting. In November 2006, in Shenzhen ，“Love and Life”artwork joint-exhibition of four drawers hosted in which Wu xiahong Paint Collection ----series of canvases of music published.
2、Music: Vocality specialty: Capability of singing in bel canto, national vocal and pop way. Wu Xiahong’s initiate album Jasmine Blossom issued by Fujian Province Cultural Phonotape and Vidiotape Press in July 2002 and the vocal concert of the album Jasmine Blossom which hosted by Fujian Province Musician Association held in Fuzhou Jiuritai Music Hall.
艺术特长：
1、美术方面：擅长以独特的音乐变奏语言绘制美术作品，创作油画、漆艺、陶瓷、国画等作品500多件。作品入选中国美协主办的首届全国壁画大展、《美术》、《鉴藏》、《瞭望市场》杂志和《中国著名女画家作品集》和作品展、中国和平统一促进会主办的《海峡流觞》两岸书画名家作品展、上海图书馆主办的漆艺作品展、中国工艺美术学会主办的2008“漆花杯中国漆器精品展漆画《律动》获铜奖、首届中国海丝工艺品博览会“海丝杯”作品展漆画《月光下的街舞》获优秀奖、福建省美协主办的第六届“东海浪”展，福建省漆艺文化研究会主办的首届会员作品展等。2003年春节，举办三位女画家“爱与生命”美术作品联展，展出个人油画作品40幅；2005年在福州举办漆艺家七人联展，展出漆艺作品近20件。2006年11月在深圳举办“爱与生命”女画家四人联展，2009年2月应法国留尼旺大区政府和法国留尼旺中华文化协会的邀请赴法国举办为期一个月的福州现代漆艺术四人联展和学术讲座获圆满成功，3月应福建美术馆邀请，参加“春花三月点点红”——2009福建女画家美术作品提名展，4月份应深圳文联邀请在深圳参加五人漆艺作品联展，作品被法国留尼旺大区政府、文化部和福建红十字协会等机构收藏。出版有《武夏红画集》——音乐油画系列。
美术组织管理：参与组织历届福建省文艺百花奖福州地区的组织评选工作以及各重大节日的美术展览活动；美术家采风创作艺术实践活动；参与编辑出版《左海艺葩》美术书法作品精选集、《福州美术家作品选集》、《福州漆艺术》丛书等工作。主编了《中国当代美术家》丛书。
2、音乐方面：声乐专长，能运用美声、民族、通俗三种唱法演唱。2002年7月由福建省文艺音像出版社出版发行武夏红首创原唱cd专辑《茉莉花开》，同年8月在福州九日台音乐厅由福建省音乐家协会主办武夏红《茉莉花开》发行演唱会。
音乐组织管理：长期从事文艺的组织、统筹、策划、协调、评选工作近二十年，参与组织了数百场全国性、全省性、全市性的大型文艺演出和音乐评选活动。如历年福州国际招商月的开闭幕式晚会，象与中央电视台合作的“故乡梦·海峡情”《同一首歌》、中华情.和谐海西文艺焰火晚会和激情广场大家唱节目；与中央歌剧舞剧院合作的“中外艺术歌曲演唱会”和“聚龙之夜”音乐焰火晚会；与中央交响乐团合作的“阳光之春”合唱精品音乐会；与东方歌舞团合作的“南方之夏”大型歌舞焰火晚会；与北大合作的“榕城之夏”文艺晚会，以及纪念建党八十周年福建省群众歌咏活动；省运会开闭幕式晚会；全国书市开幕式晚会“榕城金秋飘书香”；历届的音乐周评选活动和“主力军心声”歌咏活动；每届“五个一工程”的初评组织工作和福建省文艺百花奖评选工作；参与组织福州建城2200年文艺活动和歌曲征集活动，并统筹制作了“榕城之恋”音乐专辑以及部分歌曲制作MTV的工作。
